Vishal Bhardwaj’s next Kaminey is anything but commercial. A film about two identical twins, it is journey of two brothers who don’t like each other and have nothing in common. And how things change and there life crosses a common crossroad.
Shahid Kapoor has been for long trying to get out of his chocolate boy image. For those of you who find Shahid irresistible you are in for a surprise. His character has a completely different image– hard hitting, raw, tough and completely devoid of any glamor! Look at his six pack abs and long hair that he has created specially for the movie.
Remember his movies like Vivah, Jab We Met, Kismat Konnections, he had that sweet boy next door look. Considering the fact that most top actors would love to work with Vishal Bhardwaj, Shahid is relatively newer in the industry (he has had only a handful of films so far)
Shahid will be in for a double role in Kaminey. He will play the role of the twins– Charlie and Guddu. As expected both are physically similar but very different in character– they hate each other. One stammers, uses slangs and other is a stutter. One is a typical lover boy and the other is the tough one. The twins want to leave the life of squalor and poverty behind and run away from home to find fortune. In their quest to get rich as quick, they meet a don. As in many a Hindi movie, Priyanka Chopra plays the sister of the don and she falls in love with one of the twins– Guddu the lover boy…
